Ajay Batra is an entrepreneur, mentor, angel investor, and active contributor to the global startup ecosystem.
He is the Founding CEO of Uniqorn Growth Partners, a global startup advisory and investment company. Until recently, he was the Executive Vice President at Wadhwani Foundation, where he led the global Venture Fastrack program. He was the Founding CEO of Bennett Hatchery – the startup incubator of the Times group.
He has authored two books on Startups, and his latest book, ‘The Startup LaunchBook’ has been ranked in the Top-10 book on Entrepreneurship by YourStory.
He is a Charter Member of TiE, a member of VCAT and LeadAngels, and a Mentor for Atal Innovation Centres, NITI Aayog. He serves on several national committees of FICCI and CII and is a sought-after jury member for national and international startup competitions like HULT Challenge, CII Startpreneur Awards, Babson Challenge, ET Power of Ideas, Innovation Launchpad, etc.
Ajay has co-founded QAI Global, International Educational Exchange, and Lutyens Startups; and has consulted with stellar organizations like Accenture, IBM, Sony, Wipro, HCL, and Azim Premji Foundation. He was the only Indian to be selected for IDEO ’s global program on Design Thinking for Social Impact and has recently been recognized as Top 10 educators in the world by Arist.
Ajay has received a Computer Science and Management education in India and the USA. His first book Startups and Beyond: Building Enduring Organizations has received global acclaim.
